Amr Kais BW

Dr. Amr Kais is an accomplished entrepreneur, practitioner and professor of marketing, media and management. His 25 + years of proficient experience is a blend of solid academia expertise, considerable hands on professional employment practices, and consulting assignments in international and local conglomerates.

 

Dr. Kais founded Ipsos Egypt and was its Managing director, and also founded IMI- International Marketing and Management Institute, one of the pioneering large scale Egyptian management development companies in EGYPT he founded and lead in later 90’s, and was the Chairman of the board.

 

He also occupied several senior management positions in large international and local conglomerates like Shell, RGI, Suzuki, among others.

 

In parallel to his executive position, Dr. Kais is a professor of practice at the American University in Cairo (undergraduate curriculum, Graduate curriculum, Chartered Institute of Marketing and IAA Diploma), and part time faculty at several highly recognized private universities: Nile University, Misr International University, The World Bank Institute, and University of Cambridge International Examinations.

 

Throughout his executive career and academic contributions, Dr. Kais held several non-executive positions as Board Member of Egytrans, B-Tech (till end of 2012) and Banque Du Caire (till end of 2006). In parallel, he was Founder and Chairman of the “Marketing Committee”, American Chamber of Commerce, Egypt as well as Founder and Chairman of the “CSR Committee”. Over and above he is the Head of Communication Committee, Egyptian French Presidential Business Council and Chairman of Liaison and Communication Committee at the Egyptian French Chamber of Commerce.

 

Dr. Kais is a Certified Management Consultant by the Institute of Management Consultancy (IMC) and a Certified Coach by the Learning Circle on the “Team Learning Labs” of Peter Senge. His consulting experience is specialized in marketing, management, media, and research, covering a wide spectrum of industries including automotive, pharmaceuticals, real estate, communications, advertising, FMCGs and others. 

 

Moreover, Dr. Kais is an active contributor to intellectual writing. He has a weekly column at Al Alam El Youm newspaper, in addition to author/co-author in AUC Business Review, International Journal of Customer Relationship Marketing and Management, and several testimonials at internationally published books: Marketing Research: An Applied Orientation and Wallet Allocation Rule: Winning the Battle for Share.
